Organic Bedding and Furniture

Furnature's organic mattresses, organic bedding, organic pillows, and organic comforters are made from the purest materials on earth. We use only organically grown hand-picked cotton from Peru and pure-bred wool from sheep raised on a small island in the North Sea off the coast of The Netherlands; and natural rubber from a plantation in Malaysia. The natural rubber is commonly referred to as natural latex.

Our unfinished wood bed frames, futon frames and upholstery furniture are made from selected woods, such as spruce, poplar, ash and hard rock maple that have not been treated with harmful substances. No synthetic glues, dyes, or finishing sprays are used at any stage of production.

Materials we use for our Organic Bedding Organic Cotton All of our organic bedding products – mattresses, foundation, sheets, organic pillows, organic comfomforters and mattress protectors contain pure, organically grown and harvested cotton. The cotton we use is cultivated and hand picked in the traditional co-operative manner that has been followed for centuries in the Canete and Chincha valleys high in the Peruvian Andes. Pure Wool The wool in our organic bedding and furniture comes exclusively from Texel. Texel wool is harvested from a sustainable source without detriment or harm to the animal. The sheep are raised on an organic diet. Natural Rubber Our organic furniture mattresses are made primarily from natural rubber, the most durable and elastic material available. This natural rubber is commonly referred to as natural latex. The natural rubber core is ideal for mattresses; flexible, yet stable, it is absorbent, resilient and provides excellent heat and moisture regulation and air circulation. Natural rubber is a renewable resource. It is the milk or sap tapped from the Hevea Brasiliensis – the common rubber tree, grown on Malaysian plantations especially selected for their high quality product. About our Organic Bedding
