As with all of our collections, platform bed frames and wood bed frames and futon frames are made
with solid North American hard ash wood from sustainable forests. The ash is
natural and unfinished, simply sanded to a smooth surface. It is ready to be
stained if you choose to and is beautiful as it exists in its natural state.
All of the bed frames are made as platform bed frames with slats. The slats
are close enough to provide support without having to use a box spring or
slat box foundation. The mattress is designed to be set directly onto the
bed frame. We can also produce the bed frames as conventional bed frames if
you prefer.
Our platform bed frames are made to order and take from two weeks to four weeks to
produce. Most can be shipped anywhere in the 48 contiguous states via Fed Ex
ground service. Freight is quoted based on the model weight and the ship to
zip code.

All Platform bed frames are made of solid North American ash, a magnificent hardwood, and are available in the natural unfinished state only. We recommend you apply a no-VOC stain if you want a finish.
As important as beauty is, our platform bed frames are also durable and solidly constructed. We use metal on metal connectors for strength and easy assembly, and our hardwood slats are the strongest around.
We know that you want a choice so our wood bed frames are offered as either conventional (use a mattress and boxspring) or platform bed (use mattress only). Most beds are available from Twin to King size.
